Gearing Up For Feedback Friday: Kitchen Confidential

For the past few weeks, we’ve been testing out a new format for Feedback Friday, one that will hopefully prove beneficial to both the Quirky staff who are picking ideas, and the inventors who are submitting them. This new format is built around Quirky’s product categories: last week’s broadcast featured a successful discussion on the Accessories category, and this week, we’re shifting the focus to the Kitchen.

As some of you may know, the Quirky staff searches through the site’s idea submissions in category-based groups, which are organized according to interest and expertise. This week’s Feedback Friday will feature members of the Kitchen group, who will break down their thoughts on the category, pointing out which ideas they like, which ideas they don’t, and which ideas they’d like to see more often (to name a few topics of discussion). Viewers will also have the chance to ask questions through the chat, allowing you to pick the brains of the very people who look through the Kitchen category each and every week. Whether you’ve submitted a dozen culinary concepts in the past, or are just considering your first, this is definitely not a broadcast to miss.

So, how can you get involved in this savory symposium? It really couldn’t be easier. Just head to theĀ Quirky Live page at 3pm EST this Friday, and be ready with your kitchen-related questions! Alternatively, if you can’t make the broadcast, feel free to post your questions in the comments section of this post. We’ll handle the rest. Hi Baron! Thank you so much for Mentioning my Reuleaux Pizza Cutter! Mr. Steven Shaw said that it won't work because each side of the triangle is flat, right? But , he did not know that it's Reuleaux Triangle not a regular Triangle , that's why he said that! That concludes that he did not really see it or you showed it to him! So, the Reuleaux Triangle is not the same as the Regular Triangle , because it has curves on each side , unlike the Regular Triangle! You have to understand the Physics of the Reuleaux Triangle. It seems to me that Steven Show were not familiar or knew about the Physics behind it. Or , maybe he was just thinking of a regular triangle as you just said to him that it was a triangle Pizza Cutter and you forgot to mention to him that it was a Reuleaux Triangle which is completely different on what he thought about it when he heard you just said a triangle Pizza Cutter. And that's not the same case. The Reuleaux triangle is a constant width curve based on an equilateral triangle. The distances from any point on a side to the opposite vertex are all equal. Please see the comparison, I just uploaded this : I'm sure someone their at Quirky knows about the Physics of the Reuleaux Pizza Cutter! Can you show this to someone their , and Show the videos I also Posted on my ideation, Please.. You have to really understand the Physics of the Reuleaux Triangle and you can't just assumed is not gonna work, without investigating! Even if it is negative or Positive feedback , I will be satisfied and not feeling like you just want to close door on me. We should be more open minded and not just shut door . You have no idea , the great potential of this Product idea! This is what you are looking for innovative ideas, Right? Then, here it is... I'm still going to Tech Shop to make my own Prototype for this and other stuffs I have in mind. I guess not all of us ,can envision it that, it works! Majority of the Members agree with and like this idea. Please , see all their comments... I'm so confident that this really works , if I have million dollars , I'll be willing to bet for it... :) I won't worry at all because I already know it works.. With all my Might, Ernesto Tan

What's your Logic , that this will work? My logic is just common sense! The Man from Qingdao China made a Multi-angle-wheel Bicycle , the front wheel is Pentagon ( but has Curved sides) and Rear Wheel is Reuleaux Triangle ( All the sides are Curved) This Man from China Actually riding this Around China and it Actually works and just function or Roll just like a round Wheel! Now, why would you think , it won't work to use as a Pizza cutter wheel when you know that it works as wheel for that Bike? There's no difference and that is just absolute common sense, don't you think? I'm absolutely sure that's a very Logical reasoning! If that Polygons Bike wheels Rolls fine , why would you think , it won't work for the Pizza Cutter Wheels! Your Logical reasoning , just don't make any sense and its invalid and illogical Reasoning! I'm 100 percent sure that my logical reasoning is 100 percent right !
