Left handed/ Right brained?

If Andrew can ask about zodiac signs, I guess I can ask this burning question- Are you left handed or right handed? Also, how many Quirky staffers are left handed? (it's difficult to tell from videos)
I have a theory that left handed people tend to be right brained and right handed people, left brained. I base this on a number of observations I've made through my left handed life. For instance, my husband and I are both left handed. We taught in an English department of mostly left handers- as was the social studies department. However, the math and science departments were predominately right handed.
Of course the down side of being left handed is we tend to be accident prone and dyslexic too.

Ambidextrous. I used to work in a creative environment where a significant number were left-handed. There's interesting statistics about lefty presidents too. And I often spelled my name "Jubi" as a child. : )

I'm right handed and more analytical. However, my husband is a lefty and while he's also an engineer, he works on the creative side - designing stuff. Plus he creates really cool Lego sculptures. He often reminds me that only lefties are 'in their right minds' (he's also accident prone)

Left-Handed here. I have an interesting story about this.
In college, we were required to take two Seminar Classes (specific subject classes usually based on a professor's interest or professional expertise.) However, one semester the professor of my seminar course transferred to another city with his wife and left all us pre-resgistered students essentially high and dry.
.
Luckily, we were allowed the option to move into one of the other 4 seminars offered OR sign up for a class that would be completely open to whatever subject the students and professor agreed upon--it was a totally free and creative process.
.
Cut to the first or second session of the class and someone noticed a lot of left handers. As it turned out, 18 of the 24 (75%) class members (including the professor) were left-handed--far beyond the 10% left-handed demographic of the general population. In a totally unscientific way, this showed how right-brainers tend to gravitate to creative endeavors. COOL!

Jim- your story is an example of another part of my unscientific theory. You and the people in your seminar had to solve a problem and think of an alternative. I think left handed people have had to use both sides of their brains to come up with alternative in many situations all their lives.
And Judi- I used to write my name IRET and completely mirrored. However, most sports I played right handed because I was taught by right handed mentors.

Left handed but drawing and clicking with mouse work better with right.

Right handed people live longer.

I'm right-handed, but definitely right-brained. Those two don't usually go together. I've always been a creative and artistic sort, so don't ask me to balance your check book!

So far the score stands: 5 left handed, 4 right handed, 1 ambidextrous.
