Talk about our stuff and the process of making that stuff.
what up with this product?
I found another idea similar, http://www.iangle.net/iANGLE/iANGLE_HOME.html
The feature that is missing is the clip and it doesn't stay on the management system when using the headphones. You need to unwind and detach.
Can we expect to see the prototypes that are being printed now demonstrated on ustream, so that we understand how you intend them to function?
@Jerry Quirky is printing wrapster redesign options right now - Broadcasting live at http://ustre.am/hti3 via @QuirkyInc
The support medium makes it really hard to guess at a shape. Looks like six different pieces...or different colors...maybe all Wrapster or also some pieces-parts of other products.
Those figure 8's are the win.... The earbuds set in the middle best design i've seen yet..
@Jerry, that iAngle is a sweet design, although I have never felt the functionality. The fact that it's a stand as well seems to be a plus (unless this makes it too bulky.)
*sigh* Watching Matt F in a video makes me sad. Quirky paid a terrible price for the wrapster redesign when we lost him.
One positive from this whole episode: "Rockstar Ben" became Ben, the human..trying his best and making mistakes like the rest of us.
I've only noticed one comment and no submissions or ideas from him in the last three or four weeks. So, I don't know if he quit, but I think we "lost" him (or he's just busy...?)
@Clinton I too have noticed that matt has slowly slipped away from the forums and comment boxes. Lets hope that he is only taking some time off and will be back soon. If he's still around I hope he knows that he's missed.
I miss him too, it's like the spark has gone out of so much around here When he left, the bouncing off ideas stopped. Wrapster is a great concept and not making it is costing us money because it could be selling right now. His design rocks, it is really well thought out for its market. I went to Macworld and looked at all of them there, then watched people use, evaluate and buy the competition. Wrapster is better.
I'm going to submit Matt for quirky of the year, just suggested in the forum this morning.
