For God's sake, man!

For real, isn't ther something you can do about the pagination when you are going throug the new products? I HATE having to go back through them all when I come back from taking a peek! It is so super frustrating, and is adding a lot of wasted time to my participatory experience. How about some page number, at least, so I can jump back in? A simple request.

While I'm looking, I can click on a submission to view it and then hit firefox's back button and it takes me back to were I left off.

Hold down "Ctrl" and click, opens the idea on a new tab. But yeah, we shouldn't have to deal with it, should be automatically taken back to where we had scrolled

It's inexcusable that users need to WORK AROUND THE WEBSITE. Quirky uses page numbers in every other aspect of the website except going through ideas, which is one of the two most important areas.

There's never a time that I don't use tabs. Having just written that, I still despise the stupid way the ideations are presented.

I call bullshit.

I agree with this. Something needs to be done to the pagination system. The current system sucks.

I am new to quirky, I use ff but hockey fan states that he despises the "stupid way" the ideations are presented- did it used to be different? This is the only way I have seen them, I use ff and hit the back button and it works for me.

having the pages show up at the bottom so you can click and see where you are, instead of just more, more, more, more

It seems like they outsource the web stuff. Changes to the app are incredibly slow. Usually in that sector changes are very slow, not incredibly slow. Also, there has to be a decision made first. But that points to the problem of making them aware there is a problem. Which is partly what this Forum is here for: to give you an outlet for your frustration and to make you think they are receiving the message. But I digress. There is almost no way for a viewer to conveniently keep track of 9,000 ideas / week. Digressing further yet, why even look at ideas in the first place? Votes don't determine winner & if you happen to vote for a winner, you'll only get .0001 X influence (aka .01%). ...that's like $16 if you voted for Pivot Power. Helloooo.

They are in desperate need of some serious programming experience.

I went through some of the pages and I found out that ALL of them (regardless of how they look, and what is being done in them) seem to use the same body of java code. That is part of the reason that loading anything takes forever (and why you find so many weird bugs that look like remnants of a bygone era...)
