quirky acceptable products are hard to find.

Hi and thank you for this wonderful community.

Thank you for this wonderful community.

I am a new member/addict and wanted to mention that it is difficult to find the "quirky acceptable products" in the FAQ's. (I found it) but it was not easy. Perhaps it could be more pronounced, to weed out the "Absolute NO" items. This would save quirky time, and help people like me, that are looking to help develop great products.

Thanks again,
Marc

Believe in your product with all your mind and heart that it helps people.....first and foremost!

Good Luck! Please input on my idea, your influence can make you money too.

Thanks for the response, but my point is, why not emphasize that quirky will not (at this time) develop things like iphone apps. It would save them the time of having to refund the money. I personally would not refund the money. If you believe in your product (Like you do Joey), you are willing to risk $10 for the learning experience.

I did see on a page that stated:
Make Sure Your Idea is Feasible

Quirky currently focuses on developing consumer products that could retail for under $150 and don’t involve integrated software. Mobile applications, business ideas, and complex electronics are out of our scope… for now.

it is on this page : http://www.quirky.com/learn

as to the other response, yes, EVERYONE believes their product is the best- in fact, after looking at some of these submissions (duplicates, teching something up, already been there, done that) I agree but in another thread, it had been mentioned that is not in Quirky's best interest to turn anyone away!
