Track activity

Hi,
I'm new, so maybe it's been covered, but there's no search I can see.
Anyway, my suggestion is an activity tracker/notifier for comments on ideas or submissions. Like Facebook ("someone liked/commented on your post"). Be nice to know if people are replying/commenting on your post/idea without checking yourself

Join the club!!!

The proper place to complain about these things is in the support/feedback forum (a.k.a., Get Satisfaction). I bet that this has been brought up quite a few times already, so add your voice to the protest...

After all the complaints I have seen in the forums, I was rather surprised to find that this has barely been covered in GS.

What is that they say about "assuming"?

Hey guys, thanks for bumping this back up. This might be something we consider as an opt-in feature. We want to make sure we don't bombard people with emails left and right along with our standard digest and notification emails.

We'll monitor this thread to see who else chimes in and has interest in seeing this implemented.
