If any of these ideas get chosen as winners they have to give up their intellectual property rights to Quirky and if their only intention was to use Quirky as a venue to advertise they got a real shock coming their way!

Ken, I have no idea if they posted their submissions with the intention of advertising. Or, if they are hoping that Quirky might be interested in their product. You make a good point about them losing IP rights. I just find it really unusual to see people posting "ideas" for something that they already have in production.

Just so you know, the point of this thread is to show how people are possibly using Quirky to advertise their existing products. I'm not against them advertising. This is just the wrong place. Many of these product listed here are already in production by the "ideator."
