I just jumped the gun and congratulated Brandy, but this happened before when they discovered the name already being used by another company.

This name certainly may change.
Michael, that is exactly why I did not submit that name :/ oh well, congrats to Brandy :)
The pics are really cute for this product! Great job Q!!!
@michael - that's a REAL conflict (not just the same name in a different market). The Linkets you found is: 1. for the kid's market 2. made of colorful plastic 3. used to connect/link.
Looks like the boys and girls at Quirky need some help with modern technology like Google. Don't they teach this stuff in schools these days?:

How do I price these if I don't know how many will be included in a set?
@Nextbigthing... I'm guessing "2 or more" with the use of the plural name. ;-)
.
QDS... Please be sure •NOT• to include a utility knife and a pack of razor blades!
@Next, when it comes to molded plastic most of the money goes in packaging, shipping, and the like. Each ones of these things would probably cost less than $0.02 to make. Put one or twenty in a box and all you have to worry about is the size and weight of the box.
I was hoping that the Quirky community would have been more green that this though.
Colorful won over recyclable. What a pity.
I hope it includes enough to make a decent fort. That would be some cool market research at Q. I'll bet they still have lots of empty boxes around to build one with :)

WTF is up with choosing that name (nothing personal, Brandy) after including a disclaimer on the submission page about NOT submitting something that conflicts with copyright, etc? How can they in good conscience do this? Is this another example of R.O.T.D.? We are not trying to be whiners, just looking out for the company, as a lawsuit would affect everyone.
Andy.... that is fine, but, it is very difficult to play the "pricing game" when we don't know if we are pricing 1 linket, 10 linkets, 50 linkets, etc.
Well in order to build a closed box with two clips per edge will require 24 linkets
A hip roof is actually a bit complex. A gable would be much easier. :-)
Yeah, 20 sounds like the minimum number. You need 16 for anything that can stand on its own, plus 4 spares for doors and such.
