Influence not awarded on winning vote/idea! Why?

Has anyone else who influenced the Linkets product had it removed from their products influenced list and still not received influence on their winning ideas/votes? I am confused as to why Quirky would not award influence on winning ideas/votes and remove a product from a persons list of products they have influenced.
