That Algorithm
What are the odds that one person could earn OVER 2.5% on both the most recently announced product # 0243 and the FIVE newest listed products #'s 0262, 0263, 0264, 0265, 0266?
.
Must be an awesome picker; or something.

Wow, looks like I need to go read. Still waiting on that announcement about how the thing works and what's up with the "new and improved".
It's looking to me like certain voters have been assigned % multipliers by the system. (It looks like the voter in this example always gets 1000x what most other voters get.)
If so, why? Is it even intentional?
Wow! And I received a cool .001% for picking one. I've been very greedy with my votes to these days.
Are you sure you don't have a decimal point misplaced? Perhaps .25% or .025% and not 2.5%
How does one verify community influence on recently picked ideas? I can only do it for products in Upcoming.
What looks more like a bug is that ideators got 35+% instead of usual 37.5+% so I assume it will be corrected or new policies confirmed.
...and product 267 as well! Each one is 2.5%!

No need for conspiracy theories. Those that have found behaviors that 'Quirky likes' are reinforced on those behaviors and 'evolved' to gain more influence on the system. Unless quirky fully discloses what is considered by the algorithm the rest of us will remain in the dark. Pure evolution under random arbitrary rules.
"100%? this production would be so great that we will earn more than 100%!!!"

The shit is going to hit the fan again, get out your goggles. I am getting pretty good at identifying these scenarios, unfortunately.
We have been telling Quirky for months that the system is flawed and unfair.

It was only a matter of time before someone figured out the system.
Awesemo's 2.5% could be from his several ideas in UC, I don't see anything unusual with it. What makes me wonder is 35% for inventor.
Remember there was a huge bug in influence distribution after staff brief round, which was detected by community members and quickly corrected by Quirky.
Just because an ideator had a ton of their own ideas in UC, doesn't warrant them to receive "bonus" influence on other products that made it through. It is wrong on so many levels if that is the case. This is nothing against Awesomo (because he really is awesome), this is all about the screwed up system.
