I like the circular look better - but at the same time, I think it would be harder to store in the fridge (would take more space) as noted by Connie and the round edges would make it a little harder to get everything out. I know, I could use a scraper - but the square or rectangle designs don't have these limitations I've pointed out.
Honestly if I'm going to do multiple flavors I'm just going to make them one at a time and put them in Tupperware. I don't like the huge footprint this one has.
I would not purchase this version either. I don't think it would work very well either. I believe the original concept similar to the "vertical single container concept" is the best by far.
You will typically make yogurt with the base/original flavor and then add whatever flavor/fruit you want after the culture grows. I dont think that the four separate containers would be beneficial during the culture process.

Show AllIf people want little plastic yogurt containers, they can buy them in the grocery store 3 for $1 (on sale). Plus they come with yogurt in them.
I agree with most comments here.
+1 Bruce too many parts, no strainer no value add
+1 Ben flavor can be made one at a time, not in tiny 6 oz containers
footprint too large, yogurt made too little

I would much prefer the narrow 'footprint" instead of this plate sized container...refrigerator space is too valuable for wide containers

I don't see how this is the same concept at all. It reminds me of the yogurt makers you plug in.

I was thinking 4 flavours.
OR horizontal 1/4 rounds... so the oval shape is length ways... you click together four corners to complete the overall product.
