I actually agree with Nathan - that's the first thing that stood out to me as a warning. Too many products are flimsy and break too easily. I love the idea of the stand, but make sure it can withstand the adolescents and joggers that will be using the product. If the product breaks with a bump, consumers will not only refrain from recommending the product, they will share this problem with other consumers.
I like the metal loop idea, because I hangs small charms on my phone too. It would be much nicer if the loop doesn't point out like illustrated, and make it an embed design (like a hole carving in the case) so the loop will be hidden if people choose not to use it.
I think a Nano sized Beamer is a good idea if the Beamer keeps selling well, though I think the Quirks who influenced the Beamer ought to get influence on any smaller version... Also - I'm not sure how big the Nano Video market is right now - the Kickster isn't doing great. Then again, after the holidays I bet a lot more people will have Nanos.
I do think this needs to offer something different to the Beamer though...
The phrase "small plastic pieces that swivel" scares me. I anticipate consumers breaking these off regularly and the labelling this great idea "junk". If you do decide on the stand, make it damn near unbreakable.
As I am not sure of what you are planning to use as a power supply...using solar power to prevent the use of an external battery would be of value to the customer. The ring is the way to go with regards to a stand.
Hi Riphay. I still believe this is a good idea and I commend you for putting forth a product based on the success of the Beamer. There are a lot of new ideas this week, and it will be interesting to see whether Quirks want something totally new, or a new spin on an older idea. Good luck!
Lose the stand. If you're going to add anything like that, add a ring that flips out that's compatible with a normal tripod stand, so you can use a monkey pod on it or whatever.

I don't yet know what material the case is constructed from..
Let me know if I missed this piece of info.
What if it was compatible with the digidude

A agree with Jason and Jason.
Keep it simple.
If anything, make it almost identical to the Beamer - just making it to Nano specs.
