Often long dresses and gowns in a closet are so long (or the rack it not high enough in stanrdard closets) that the bottom of the dress rests on the floor collecting dust, lint, dirt and running the risk of damage from ripping, water or pets! There seem to be no hangers that lift the bottom of the dress off the floor. And packing long dresses and gowns is also a hassle because you end up having to stuff the bottom of the dress into the garment bag.

MY IDEA is a gown/long dress hanger accessory (a modified hanger attachment) that would scoop the bottom of the dress off the floor and attach it to the top of the hanger. This would protect the dress/gown from the "elements/hazzards" on the floor and make it simple for packing. Please see my video:
