Our First product, the Universal Wire Retractor! Well done, us. As defined, it’s all about this:
Concept takes two of the basic wire retractors, and stacks one above the other. Both retractors move on the same center axis, however top and bottom move in opposing directions. User would simply fold a wire in half and insert the fold into the clasp in the midsection, which would hold the wire giving the spring/retractor the leverage it needs. Several different sizes and versions could be produced to accommodate all wire diameters. Low versions could connect to laptop adaptors, etc.
And now…time to weigh in on the magic our designers have conjured up. Yep, move those ratings bars… and MOSTIMPORTANTLY: favorite your top pick. Step one in full effect, y’all. Time’s-a-tickin’!
note the idea for the wire retractor is our development test project, and was conceived in house. you can still earn influence, and if the product gets made you’ll earn cash!
Create a way to lock the retracting mechanism. I had a travel sized mouse that had a similar mechanism designed into the cord. Drove me freakin' crazy because if I yanked it, it would retract and my mouse would run away from me.
It's form doesn't tell me how to use it, maybe making it more rounded wouldn't compromise it's direction showing me were do I grab it and how it works in every direction
It may be 'boring', but it also isn't a coffee table centerpiece. I like how it's simple and predictable while just plain... working. Perhaps a set of small rubber discs in each corner can help it set in some location with limited movement.
