Michael Cavada's big idea…

Silicone Spoon

Project Complete!

Project Brief

Product Design: Industrial Design

Product 28 needs some design help Quirks! Take a look at our designs and add your own if you’d like.

Has anyone considered silicone such as what is now used in bake-ware and kitchen utensils?
This is a pretty hot item and you can't get much less expensive than this. I know many would think this to be too flimsy but I think for simple stirring, scooping yogurt and soup it would be perfect.
No pic needed...Just keep the hook end to slide over the edge as all the other pics.

Hey a martini works for me!

Actually, a little vodka stirred in my coffee would be just as fine on a cold day like today.

I also propose to use this for mixing drinks... maybe to scoop the olive out of your martini?
Hey, why not our own official drink!

    The Quirky Martini
    1 oz White Rum
    2 oz Grey Goose® vodka
    2 oz pineapple juice
    1 pineapple chunk

stirred not shaken with Quirky "spoon" (name not yet determined)

Maybe we could get Grey Goose to advertise their vodka using the drink and the spoon!

@ Michael: Good thinking. It could be reinforced in the interior with some sort of rigid material, but be soft & pliable on the outside.

I just want this to remain a spoon. I really like the idea of using it for yogurt/soups.
