Single Cap, Slide-on brushes
A single cap with concave setting for brushes. Cap has holes which allow paint to flow through to brush. Brushes have rod shape to slide onto concave setting. Holes in brush allow paint to flow through cap to bristles. The larger the brush, the more holes. Smaller brush, fewer holes.
Can slide brushes to adjust paint flow based on alignment of brush holes with cap holes.

Show AllI don't see a stop on the end of the concave setting, so I'm concerned that the brush heads may shift sideways when I use them from side to side (as when I'm painting a thin line). Maybe the pressure that keeps the brushes from leaking would be enough to keep them from shifting...? It seems like there's a gap between the top end of the range of pressure that still allows the heads to be removed, and the low end of the range of pressure that keeps the heads from shifting.
This is an intriguing concept. (and I have a soft spot for pencil on graph paper drawing! :-) ) The alignment mechanism would be critical, to prevent leakage.
Thanks. I think a good pressure fit between the parts would stem the leaks.
