I always double check to make sure I blew out the candle. Never again, with the Timed Candle Wick. Burns for 2 hrs & goes out automatically.

A candle wick that contains metal or non-flammable segments at predesignated lengths so the candle burns for a specific number of hours and then self extinguishes. To re-light the candle, simply clip off the metal crimp and re-light it. It will burn for another predesignated amount of time.
18,000 home fires were due to candles in 2002 resulting in 130 deaths and $333 million dollars in home damage. 18% of candle fires are from abandoned candles and 12% are because people fall asleep while buring candles.
