So yes, I'm super embarrassed by my lack of artistic skills.... so first of all, no laughing at my images!!
You know that everybody at some time or another either loses their house keys, leaves them behind, or needs to let a friend of family member into their home while they're away, yet there are no good solutions to the hidden key dilemma. I have been the victim of identity theft due to hiding a car key inside my gas tank lid. My father in law's house key went missing after I hung it on the tree where I got it from. And fake rocks? A four year old can find a hidden key in one of them. We need a new way to hide keys outside the home. One which, once marketed, won't be the first place the bad guys look. One which can be placed in many different locations so even if they know it's hidden, it could be anywhere....
I'm open for suggestions on how to improve it but I think that a spike shaped, waterproof container which can be pushed into and flush with the ground would be an excellent way to hide a key. It could have a small key ring hook at the top to be lifted up, it could be disguised to look like grass or a weed on top, and it could be "planted" anywhere on your property! We could even go a step further and have it electronically located using a smart phone. It would sit close to flush with the ground so it wouldn't be hit by lawn mowers or a barefoot child. The great thing is, you know where to look for it and the bad guys don't.
