Hi Hans, Ya I’m trying to look at this in a different manner and it may seem a little strange at first until you image this between your legs. Now that sounds even more strange. There are so many lap desks on the market already that from what I see already solve most the issues. So I think something unique is called for. The shape will fit firm and snug. The top tilts but I was also thinking that 4 cylinders could be positioned in the top section that could be raised and lowered to create any desired sloped. The wrist support, l the outer edge of the top cold be raises and projected out a little more. I guess I just really think it would good to see something different that is functional. This would also look cool on a table as an IPad pedestal. Good luck! I hope you’re happy with the final winning design.

Hey Bernie, crazy design! Way to think out of the box!

You definitely solved the iPad rotation problem.

I'm not sure how this would fill the "desk" part of the equation, or give arm and wrist support while typing; and wouldn't you still have to bend your legs and prop them up on something to achieve an angle for the iPad? I was really hoping to solve that problem with this product.

Still, I didn't see this in my head at all and congrats on putting a different "spin" on the possible form of this thing!

It should be noted that the top surface is contured to the back shape of the Ipad and is held in place by a slight under cut around the top edge.

Plenty of room to build internal storage if desired. Could slip out from the edge possible USB storage or ear buds etc. Would be fun to use!

If you “Google” lap desk there are already 1000’s of designs on the market quite similar to what has been submitted.
