As a person who has physical disabilities, I think this is a great idea! I might not use it for the iPad, but I sure might be able to adapt it for some other product!
You can never be sure where the toilet roll is going to be mounted. The device should BE the toilet paper holder with the gooseneck thingy, but think about how long that gooseneck is going to be to make that work. I'm guessing 2 ft. in our bathroom.
I have seen my husband take his iPad into the bathroom. But, I think what might be more useful is something to hold your iPad or Kindle while you're in the tub. I love to read in the bath tub but wouldn't risk dropping my Kindle to save my life.
OK, guilty. I know we have almost all done it. Brought the magazine into the restroom for a little light reading.
What's frightening is that people are so attached to their electronics that they want to bring it in the restroom and "do a little business" while doing their business.
When did the restroom become downtime? i think this might be unsanitary and is therefore not a trend I can back. P.S. if I hear you (read: anyone) on the phone next to me in a stall, I plan on making the rudest noises possible an an act of rebellion.

I'd rather continue using my hands to carry mags.

What about something that is "lap" friendly?
