Thank you, like I said on my previous comments, I appreciate all your comments and support.
I really like Quirky against other inventors sites, because of the community benefits and feedback even if your product does not get selected, secondly, because there are rewards for all contributors on making it happen and thirdly because the product goes into production rather quickly.
So, I have been pounding my brain and hopefully come up with another idea that we can al benefit from.
@ Rene -- I wouldn't imagine this would be expensive to produce: I hope you go for it on your own if Quirky doesn't. (I think this is a long shot for Q, but I'm voting anyway. :-)
Thank you again for your comments, card games may be good for a different niche than Quirky like I said it was a good warm up shot to feel how things work around here, as you can tell I am a mewbie to Quirky and It has been a great experience thanks to people like you and everybody that has been talking the time to read over the idea.
Thanks again
Hey Loo,
This is what Quirky is about and I thank you for your sincere comments on the idea, I agree that there are a bunch of games out there probably similar to this one, but it is also true that it is like the app store 150k apps maybe only 5% are worth the 99 cents.
It is a matter of fun, new and not boring (I still have not been able to finish a game of Monopoly) plus 95% are only recreational and not educational.
Anyway it was worth the shot.
I think that your inventions should be based on more of NEED than WANT.
This is a want product and there're many games like this, not just in the card games category, but you're competing against all toys as well, because all of them, including yours, fulfill the fun in all of us. Thus, from a commercial feasibility perspective, I doubt that this is gona succeed.
Hey Rene. I liked this last week, and still do. Just because Quirky has been gadget oriented doesn't mean it can't be game oriented as well. Nice thinking and good luck!
