OK. Got visuals. The concept is great but i don't want my keys, cards, whatever, exposed and swinging about. I would not like the jingling and I don't think others around be would like it. Also, i play basketball and tennis and this would not be practical for those. I never take anything into the gym. I like the idea though, but would simply create a similar sized "clip on case" to house these items. good luck. I would not purchase this the way it is designed.

The jiggling concerns me too, and I'm concerned about weight distribution. With all the stuff attached it could get bulky. I'll be interested in seeing how the idea evolves.

this would be cool if it were a sort of pouch with a hand towel attached that could be stuck to gym equipment magnetically. That way you can put your stuff in the small pouch and it's attached to your towel when you move from one station to the next. It eliminates the jingle of the keys and would sleek up the design a bit.

I'm an avid gym rat and there have been many many times where I have to go back to my locker because I forgot something in the middle of my workout.

It would be best if machine washable too.

@David - Excellent! Agreed this device is needed. Upload those images for us so we can see them here (email quirky the jpeg and ask to add to post, and until then post here in comments) I would start the post with the link as well so people know you have a website for it. Looks good! Got my vote!

@Joao - that took me a full minute to understand... way too funny!

Why not just use a small bag and secure it with a keypad lock?

Then again, the problem with both the above mentioned solution and your solution is that they could get stolen if they weren't in the locker or watched constantly.

So the solution is to keep your belongings with you at all times. But, is it cool to have your belongings attached at your waist while you're using the various exercising machines? And would its weight bother you?

Then again, I'd stick to the lockers or small bag with keypad lock for now since I don't see commercial viability with this. Sorry.

Many of the machines at the gym have cup holders, so something for your water bottle may not be necessary. This would allow for the item to be smaller. But for the machines that don't have cup holders, like weight lifting machines, it could be a useful component. Maybe there could be two versions.
