As an avid bicycle rider, who often rides with my wife and two children, I have often found that I would like to know when the bike in front of me is slowing down or stopping. The only options that I have seen available are battery operated and use electronic sensors. This means that reliability rests on the power source and the electronics, which diminish responsiveness and which I believe are two things that are most prone to failure.

My product solves that problem of guessing when the bicycle in front of me is slowing down by providing an option for adding a brake signal to the bicycle that is activated by the brake system in order to alert those following that the bicycle is slowing down or stopping.
