I am 51 years old and after having hip surgery I needed help getting out of bed. I was using a chair beside my bed and would grab the post of the chair to help pull myself out of the bed. I got tired of the chair being in the way. I wanted to get out of bed independently, so we invented this device that we call the helping hand bed post which attaches to the bed rail.

I know for myself, people who have had hip and back surgery need this device. Also, the ederly, handicap, injured and perhaps obessed people. I have used this for 4 months and have proven it to be successful.
