There are two distinct types of wrenches, both of which have a rapid adjustment mechanism and a positive locking mechanism. I am presenting both as one concept in order for Quirky to explore both embodiments and to sort out which may be the most effective way to accomplish the best results. While there are competing products, which I have listed below, none of them have the one feature that both of mine has, and that is a way to positively lock the jaws after they are adjusted so that they don't move when taking them on an off the nut when tightening it. Traditional adjustable wrenches are well known for this major flaw. * An additional add on jaw plate may be used to eliminate the need for metric size wrenches.
