There is not a personal handheld nut butter grinder on the market today. There are not really any personal nut butter grinders, let alone handheld. You can only find fresh ground nut butters at limited grocery locations, and most only have peanut butter, with a few that offer almond butter. You can however, find nuts of any kind, in bulk just about everywhere. You can not find for instance, pistachio, macadamia, pecan or walnut butter anywhere. I want a solution that will allow me to use bulk nuts of any kind and combination to grind my own nut butters in small on demand quantities. Another problem I ran into, is that I actually burnt out the motor in my food processor trying to make cashew butter. My wife was not to happy about that.
My solution is a small, 12-16 oz. Handheld Nut Butter Grinder similar to a coffee grinder or pepper grinder for fresh nut butter on demand in small batches. You can grind the butter into a jar for storage and travel or grind it directly to toast and other tasty foods. Just fill the canister with a handful of nuts and press the button to grind. Kids will love love love making their own peanut/almond/walnut/cashew/pistachio/macadamia/hazelnut butter. How about getting creative and adding chocolate chips or raisins into the mix. With this solution the butter comes out bottom effortlessly and clean. No scraping required as with other nut grinders that are basically small blenders and food processors in which the butter sticks to sharp blades. Takes 20 seconds to make nut butter of choice with my solution and cleanup is effortless.
