Kitchen gadget that floats in water, whistling like a tea-kettle when the water boils!
The Problem
I hate waiting for water to boil - especially if it is a large pot. Without any better way to know when the water is boiling, I end up checking every few minutes or so - annoying! I want an easy way to alert me when the water is ready.
The Solution
I would love a simple product that I can just float on top of the water. As the water boils, steam will cause the cone to whistle - just like a tea-kettle! This gadget would give you warning before the water boils over!
I picture it as a cone-shaped plastic or silicone device that has a hollow ring around it, allowing it to float on the water. The cone would have a small hole in the top - allowing steam to escape once the water boils and making a whistle noise.
Key Features
- Simple to use, easier than setting up a thermometer with an alert to a specific temperature, more accurate than just using a timer.
- Fun and handy product - could be made in a variety of colors or shapes - the kind that kitchen gadget lovers adore!
- Low price point makes hitting sales thresholds and getting to production a real possibility!
