Research: Research: Ethnographic
Ah.. Timing worked out on this one. It’s the end of the summer, and with this project we’re sending you off on a quirky adventure. Our design team would like to see photos of people sitting and chilling all around the world. Sounds like we’re just creepy stalkers? Nope. This is for serious.
This will help us see and understand how people kick back and hang- and will allow us to design an awesome stool/solution around our findings.
Go to the beach
Capture what’s going on on your deck
In the garden
At Events
In the Woods
By the pool or lake
In your house when it gets crowded
Rooftops, etc.
Anywhere there are people chilling
Take photos- post them here. One photo per idea submission.
Keep in mind we aren’t looking for just one person sitting, we’re interested in the dynamic that is created when groups of people come together to hang.
Submissions: ONE IMAGE PER SUBMISSION PLEASE. These should be snapshots/photographs, not illustrations. Multiple image submissions will be disqualified
VOTING: Vote for your top 5 ‘scenes’ that we should take into consideration.
This is a fun and new project for us, and we hope you impress us. Intern Eugene has been all over central park doing some work to get this started, and we hope to see snapshots from all around the world- so we can understand what goes on outside this little island we live on.
