Almost every college dorm comes with a desk for each student, which usually include one or more drawers. Drawers are a great place to keep stuff, but they aren't always the most secure place to keep your stuff. Until now.
This is a simple, original way of locking most drawers without requiring any modification to the drawer or desk/dresser. Most drawers have two features in common: 1) A small amount of space between the the top of the drawer and the desk, and 2) a "lip" that hangs down above the top of the desk above this space (see images).
This product takes advantage of these components to create a lock that slips on the top edge of most drawers. The lock is keyed, and turning the key, turns a gear system connected to two hinges that lock behind the overhanging lip of the drawer frame (see images).
