Project Complete!
Here are a few form factors we propose adding to the sling design, given our internal research, as well as the research you provided us with.
Its important that we not only have cool designs / patterns printed on a sling.. but design a cooler/better sling all together.
Please rate the different forms, as well as vote for your two favorites.
RECAP OF BRIEF:
A lot of people break their arms, and are required to wear slings. The problem with these slings is that they are boring, only the color blue ? Why can’t there be a pink sling for girls ? or a Powerpuff Girls Sling for young girls ?
Sling Stories are slings with pictures on how you got your injury, like falling down the stairs, saving a princess from an evil monster, rescuing a drowning kitten, or being a victim of Dick Cheney and other cool stuff.
These will be sold in hospitals and drug stores. Parents will buy these for their kids to make them feel better. Kids will love it, because they could show it off to their classmates and be a hero.
Injured people who wear slings, wear it for weeks or even months, give them something fashionable, something funny, something wearable

Show AllI do not think this design looks comfortable or any benefit to the user so do not think this is the best style.
I have a question for the quirky designers. Are you guys designing for the design in itself or for the ergonomic functionallity of it? Do you guys actually go to hospitals to test out a few prototypes?
Cheers,
Tijs.
I wouldn't buy this style
