Make it look like a shark, so you can wrap your headphones around its tail and pop the bottle cap off with its mouth. Sell in different colors. Call it "JAWS" maybe "Jared's Jaws."
The clay models were for the people that wanted to see a 3d version, but the tan clay didn't help and the nub look more like balls or boobs than a bone.. whoops my bad. The copper bone is flat (besides the flaps that are folded down to hold the ipod) and the nubs are just as big as they need to be to wind up all the head phone cable and still leave the clip on the back fully functional . Nicole I will try and post some more sleek and elegant models but Im having a little trouble visualizing something sleeker that will have the same amount of function
opinion: the bone isn't sleek. it thwarts the entire aesthetic of apple's design. create an elegant and discreet bottle opener and you're selling millions. in the meantime, your bone design will sell a few, but to a niche market. many, particularly women, will be turned off.
another thought for your
if you could imagine one of the knuckles which effectively is a sphere
you can snap half off and place your ear/wire within it and snap it back on again
keeps the aesthetics clean
wires wrapped round wouldn't look good
maybe you could do it to all four knuckles and create four small storage compartments
go with my previous idea of the bottle opener as a removal piece being the mid-section
put this together and as they say in the UK
Bob's your Uncle!!!!
hi jared
think about maybe having the bottle opener as a snap on/off design element of the bone wrap
rather than an integral piece
eradicate the potential of liquid damage
and then theres no issue of disconnecting
if your going to pass the opener around
this snap on/off bottle opener could have bone wrap embossed in its mid section
i see a nice chrome finish
guess your heading towards a swiss army knife for the mac world

It looks somewhat vulgar. Also, why are you cracking open beers while jamming out to your ipod? Seems anti social.
make it pink?
It must be a guy thing... I just don't see a need.
