I'm not sure 100% cotton is the best fabric. Wicking material might be a better choice.

William - the beauty of having a few extra samples to test market demand with. Only that. That's what it's like to be resourceful. I have three samples left if you're interested in purchasing an i-Bra for yourself. Let me know - send me a quick email!

I mean - are you bothered because I went a few extra steps than the rest of the products?

Quirky is a great option for me and for my product. And I'm using it. I don't know why people like you are getting bogged down in all the details. Maybe the likes of you don't know how to process so much information?!

You know that part of being an entrepeneur is being resourceful. That's not a crime, but if its too much for you to understand, I sincerely apologize.

And I don't see people's liquidity issues being discussed with the other products. So at the end of the day, that shouldn't even be part of this thread.

I'm here to use quirky and to get feedback from its users. If I win, I will let the product develop to its potential within the community. I will do everything in my power to get this product to market. I love what other people have been suggesting. I believe in the product. I hope Quirky does too.

Kashyap - Thank you. Some of my friends have tried the samples and they like it. If you see my pitch, there is a link to a review - video included, showing the ipod and ibra in action. It's pretty neat. This does not mean that I'm saying the product is perfect - but I have gotten pretty positive feedback. I just ran a half-marathon with it (today!) and I'm thinking about the material - because it did get very wet with sweat, but the pocket worked great for my ipod nano and my debit card. Thank you for suggesting the material thingy - because we might be unto something. Please consider influencing my product if it gets chosen....
Dario - iproducts are the next big thing!
Tom - thank you for being funny, yet kind.
Greta - the pocket has a hole which the earphones fold through. my thought process was the same as yours. I like absolutely no interference.
Please let me know if you have any more questions. Thank you for your support.

While you are at it, can you make it so that the earphone cables are more contained? I have often played with mine- constructing a sort-of looped necklace that then attaches to my tank or bra strap. I like to have truly hands free running attire. ;)

You could make a version for men that are "fleshy" in that part of their body and call it the i-Bro (nod to Seinfeld).

"iSnack 2.0" - i just had to mention that (my fellow kiwis and those aussies will know what i'm talking about).
Everyone's adding the "i" in front of their product names these days and to me, it makes the products cheap (in a bad way).

    Hi Carolina,

also take a look at Fitness/Gym clothing from larger sports brands for women, most of them have a pouch or pocket at the back of shorts, you see instructors putting their microphone gear there during class.

Checkout the material on those and get info on what instructors find annoying/good with that. It will give you some ideas to improve your product too.

Try you bra idea out by taking a sports bra and sticking an ipod where you want it, do some exercises and see where the sticking points are.

Also ask friends to do this and see what comes out in their opinion. You will be amazed how much more improvement and things come out you havent thought of yet.

Okay, I am in love with the potential of this product. I just spent hours searching for petite sized sport bras, no luck. Petite for the blessed, zero, the average price DD being 50-60 bucks, and you have to take it to a seamstress to have the shoulder straps shortened and moved closer together.
On google, there were 22 responses to a petite DD and none gave a response directly for a petite size. Ahem, the Asian, Hispanic and vertically challenged (3/4 of most crowds) would rise up and buy 4 (sports, dress, date night, smoothing) at a shot, twice a year, more with weight fluctuation and babies.
IF this is done at a great price point, it could put quirky on the map. I want an influence piece of this one!!
This could be huge (pun only half intended), vote for this!!!

Ann- why don't you come up with a shoulder strap device the would clip to the bra strap and basically "fold" the strap to make it shorter? Think "Strap Perfect"

If this is a big issue for you, there is an opportunity for you to create something here!!!

aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh the good old quirky discussions!
Carolina, i've changed my 3rd vote to your product because i like what i see. A product that improves, not only ipod users, but sports people in general ...i mean the ladies, but if you have an idea for men...post it next week! (just not the boxers you know...rofl)
All i would do is to create a "safer" zone with more comfort for the big breast ladies, as well for the people who want to take their home keys or anything else that fits in the pocket. I dont know the material to be used but a comfy pocket would be great to have.

    Good luck
