I think it's a really good idea. I go with everyone and go wireless. the best idea is to have a earphone jack on the ring and plug the shuffle into that, and do something like the "headphones for ipod shuffle with integrated controls" (below in development stage) for the headphones. wireless earbuds look kinda wierd.

"here let me present me ipod on a easy to access location so ppl can just grab at it and thn strangle me with the earphone cord!" - sorry for being a bit too dramatic.

A couple of ideas: 1. Go wireless, if at all possible.
    2. If unable to go wireless, perhaps some spot further up the arm, such that there won't be a headphone wire running from your finger to your ears.

reply to "2": um that already exists.

Is it not yet possible to go wireless with this? Why are there wires with all these gizmos? Almost everything in my office is wireless. Do we have to drag the wires around? Get rid of wires. Do the ring thing and you have one of my votes. I'll check back later.

Think the general teen market would be large enough as a base, though I think with so many iPod "storing" options this might be tough to really get a hold on that market. Armbands, clips, and even simple pockets are already used and used quite often. Not sure the ring would be a big hit. Good luck though!

I can't see guys, kids who type on their phones or athletes finding this convenient. The market is small.

It also seems like it would be easy to catch on a car door, locker door or in hair as it is absentmindedly fixed.

This will be great for Apple's new iPod "pico".

    1. I personally don't think that this will look good (especially on guys)
2.The shuffle does not need to be that accessible, as the most used buttons are on the headphones
    3. Good luck!

interesting, however, i wouldn't suggest this is targeted towards fitness enthusiasts....an armband or something similar is much more practical and less intrusive than the positioning this idea suggests.

Wrong about the bracelet... it already exists.
