A silicone ice tray that makes an igloo for a 6 pack of drinks.

Submitted by: Christopher Gianelloni

The Problem

Buying bags of ice everyday is expensive when you're at the beach and has the tendency to melt before the day is done.

The Solution

With the drink igloo, you can make your own ice in any standard freezer that will last longer than bags of ice and keep drinks just as cold.

Key Features

  • Saves money on buying bags of ice to lace an ice chest with.
  • Easy to use.
  • Freezes over night
  • Last longer than crushed/cube ice.
  • Stackable

Product Comparison

  • Places who sell ice.
  • Ice trays.
  • Refrigerators with built in ice makers.

I "like" the fact that this will "melt"...it's functional when you need it to be, then it "disappears", eliminating the need for a "cleanup!" Love the idea, best wishes. :)

I think they would be fun to leave out at parties too (with a drip tray under them of course) Guest could just could walk by, take a drink and keep on walking. No more digging through ice to find a drink.

That's a pretty good idea. You could stack them in the cooler too.

Yeah. However, the only problem with doing that is ice melts and refreezes which would merge the two blocks together if they were touching.
