Show AllI think this is a great idea, however, I do have a few questions...I agree with Christopher Allison, how does having the channel where the liquor runs also be the joint between blocks not spill everywhere? Also, this would be really fun if it wasn't just blocks, can you make different shapes? Even a smaller fun shaped luge would probably attract girls and not just frat boys.
Most college students don't have double door fridge/freezers, they have a refrigerator with a much smaller freezer on top. Based on the size of the cubes that is depicted in the images (relative to the size o a person), i think it would be nearly impossible to freeze all six cubes at the same time. Freezing them in staggered stages would no you no good because by the time the next one freezes, the frozen one has melted. Also because there are six independent blocks, it seems likely that the thing will eventually topple over as it melts.
Fruit punch, lemonade and other non-alcoholic beverages will freeze up, clogging the pathway. Therefore, this device is only intended as an alcohol novelty. It doesn't have to be used as a turbo-drunkening device.
At first I thought this was cool. Something fun to make.
I did not realize it was a drinking to extreme device.
This is totally irresponsible....
I see your point about extreme drinking, but in this product's defense I've been served a Cosmopolitan through one of these at a very nice (non-college drinking game oriented) catered party. The setup: Bartender stood on other side, I was instructed to choose a glass from the decorative stack, he mixed the drink and instructed me to hold my glass at the opening. He then poured the shaker contents into the luge. It was marvelous and definitely classy. No boobs were flashed (sorry) and no one passed out in vomit- Now that's a win/win!!
;)
Note to Developer Peter: Perhaps existing marketing approach can be tweaked? Or you can create a 'sister product' essentially the same but with different colors and marketing strategy on box =))) I'd buy.

Why is this product marketed as only a liquor run? Can't anyone see this being a fun game at a kids party, only use fruit punch or lemonade?
This looks pretty awesome, but the idea of having the channel where the liquor runs also be the joint between blocks sounds like a lot of liquor will be lost in the process... and having no clue how large it is, is a little disconcerting. Can somebody who has purchased it go into more detail please.
Thank you.
How about a spigot as well as a drinking tube?
This could be great for water supply storage for sporting events. It can be refiled one at a time when extra is needed.
looks like a brilliant idea but what would the sizes be of each cube?
this is something I would buy
