Very upsetting

The design is very unique but it works very poorly. It handles multiple electrical connections fine. When charging two USB gadgets, it will fail to adequately charge. It only works well when charging ONE USB device. Furthermore, if you attempt to charge an iPhone and an iPad one of the USB ports will die and the only way to resurrect it is to unplug the unit for a few hours. This product is promising but needs work and was brought to market too quickly. Aren't these products tested before they are made available for sale??

Very disappointed

I concur with the other reviews.I purchased this specifically to charge my iPhone and iPad at the same time, along with my laptop. I "assumed" that the phone was charging, but when it was time to fly, the phone was dead, and the iPad was semi-charged. Why was I not told this before the purchase? I also bought 6 units for co-workers and will be returning these for the reason above.

Disappointing.

I was quite excited to purchase my first Quirky product, but right out of the box the unit couldn't handle charging my iPad 2 and iPhone 5 – the power pulsed between each USB port, alternating which device it was charging in a rapid succession. I cannot recommend this product, and it has tainted my view of the Quirky brand.
