Show AllI really like this idea...IT would be great if you had bag storage that would allow you to use any brand of bags you choose....What size is the can...?
I like it!
This reminds me of a product my parents owned a long time ago called Magikan. http://www.magikanrefills.com/ I remember that the bags on the magikan's liner roll were pretty thin and tore easily, leading to a messy interior. Eventually, my parents ended up throwing away the entire thing. Are the bags on the roll perforated? What's the weight capacity per bag? The success of a product like this will weigh heavily on the quality of the bags used.
What are the dimensions?
What I like about this is the new bag storage, that's great and something that I'm sure will be copied by the big boys soon. What I don't like, the inside liner basket, from the pictures we see, looks like there is some space between it and outer can. I'd like to see the front of the liner can and the two sides lip over the can. This way when something hits the edge it doesn't run down between the cans. The lid could still cover it when closed.
Charcoal filter. Well. That's gonna raise the price a bit, but throw it in there if you can. Why not.
Good work. WITOI
only suggestion, perhaps adding a charcoal filter attachment inside the lid would really take this product to the next level. nobody likes the smell of trash escaping out. i believe then this product would be worth the price.
I like this idea a lot, it definitely provides a useful tool. One thing you could consider.. What if you could implement a way to hasten the re-bagging process completely. Currently, you facilitate taking out a bag that could be messy. Something to consider; what if the user didn't have to put a bag back in after a bag is full. Designing a way to install your bags and have the bag be put in automatically could be what makes this and "I want" product but dont "need". If you also did that i think you could have even a bigger success because it tackles two problems.
Ditch the curved back and just make it square, this needs to be able to hold a good amount of stash and I agree with Jennifer Wingard comment "The curve should be in front, not in back- the open space would look unattractive against a wall."
Put me down with Davis Ferris, especially at anything over $25. I already basically do this with my existing can... I have extra bags at the bottom of the can so when I take the full bag out, I just take another empty bag off the bottom. While the design is nice depending on the kitchen look, I'm not sure about what it is trying to "solve".
Can it be offered in red? The curve should be in front, not in back- the open space would look unattractive against a wall.
