The Case that Makes a Stand
Quirky’s Kickster is an awesome new case designed by the Quirky community and Apple enthusiasts worldwide within 24 hours of Apple’s announcement of the fifth generation iPod nano.
This case maintains a slim profile but packs a ton of functionality. We’re talking:
- Hard plastic exterior.
- Full body and depressed screen protection so your screen can avoid surfaces and scratches.
- Integrated shock-absorbent silicone pad and cord wrap.
- Integrated swivel kickstand, which allows you to position your nano vertically or horizontally. Also functions as a hand-steadying grip for shooting video.
- Cut-outs for access to ports, buttons, microphone, and camera.
- Two-piece design clip makes for easy loading/unloading.
NOTE: This case was designed specifically for the fifth generation iPod nano. Compatibility with previous models is not yet confirmed.

this is not new design to me but this is very useful cause i got a ipod nano 5th generation from my sis and i don't like to use it because it's way too thin. i worry about dropping it off all the time. i think this can help. and i especially like the side handle cause whoever owns the newest ipod nano would notice that the lense is so easy to be covered by hands.

It detects other 'Grapplers' within a person's immediate vicinity and pops up a shared view of these folks on your laptop and/or iPhone. Conversations can be had syncronously on the fly with people right there or asynchronously later on. I hope that the people who submitted the more complicated and cool projects in this round will resubmit for the next project development. There were several ideas I thought were much better than these, but I understand that this quicky quirky had to offer easy, fast implementation. Not the best ideas, just the most feasible. Overall a great job and I hope to see more of this of type of from-the-hip project development. We kicked ass!
