    I think its a really great idea;
I especially like the waterproof washing and the counter.

I think the package design doesn't sell it at all though.
"A weighted toothbrush stand" sounds boring and you're not showing all the useful features it has
i.e. the upright position helps to keep it clean, 2 minutes timer for perfect brushing time, waterproof to clean
You really need to show this stuff straight away or its just a cheap bobble toy for your brush.

It would be an attention-catcher if the toothbrush was electric and it generated power from the movement it makes. This way you'll no longer have the need for a power cord .

Now it is just a "funny" gimmick...

... would be to have the brush side down. I've never kept my tooth brushes out on the counter for germ filled reasons but if you could put the brush side in the container, I would consider it.

Product look new and attractive to try
but its expensive, its just a rubber ball, and its colors wont fit all brushes colors, unless its used to mark whose brush is it !

What happens when the tooth brush is sitting after use. Liquid drips down. Into the handle area. and gets crusty and turns white residue and gunky and and breeding ground for black moldy thing to grow in it or orange bacteria to live and breed. Have you found a nice easy way to clean this or make it better? Easy. The cup that holds the brush should come out and easy to replace it.

Have you seen the in-ear thermometer with thin transparent cover for each use? That's what you need. Something like that like cough syrup medicine cup that you can plug and unplug so you can toss when it's gross.

Does it make sense? That way you not only have them with this product which fun. but also plugs into mom's germ-aphobic nature.

You can also sell the plug cup to mom who wants replacement. and allow them to buy metal or hard plastic cup that come out and make that cup part dishwasher friendly. :) ahh, now your brain clicks.

Make it better not just obvious way. Make it Steve Jobs better.

When you want to change tooth brushes do you have to throw the whole thing away? Will water drip into the base from the toothbrush? Does this come in soft, medium and hard? Could you cover the toothbrush without loosing balance? Looks like you are forced to leave it on the counter.

I would like to have them for my family of 4 but it’s too pricey. I think a marketing strategy of a family/value pack would be more ideal, with the price much lower of course. Great idea

Like another review I think this holder is not needed for a regular toothbrush. Most people are using electric brushes and most come with stands. You might be able to get the people that haven't gone to electric toothbrushes for awhile but the price is more than an electric brush is so why buy this instead of a better brush. Change the holder spot to fit any size brush and then it might be able to reach more consumers.

Dentists know that rotating brushes are far better for thorough cleaning and encourage those purchases. I thought this brush was electric and now understand the mediocre sales results. You can find electric brushes for as low (on sale) as 5.99. My advice is to Revamp it to electric, reprice it and it's a winner. I would buy if it was electric, no problemo. Good luck!

I would definitely use this, especially when traveling.

But this is too pricey for me. I would buy this around $3.99 or $4.99.
