I used to slip one of the older kids tshirts over the baby and the back of the chair and seat.
You pull off the tray and take it to the sink.
You role up the food into the tshirt and slide the tshirt right off.
The baby is still buckled into the seat underneath and you can go shake the food bits into the yard for the birds!

Idea: create a clip on attachment to use with the velcro in restaurants; make the server's life easier (and grateful!).

Good idea. The concern I have is the placement of the Velcro. Food, dirt, and bacteria would collect, thus creating other problems and messes.
I suggest attaching the Velcro under the tray lip. This would protect the Velcro and allow the pouch to be more effective.
