Just bigger?
Best wishes. Perhaps, adding a motion-detector alarm, operated by a remote, so alarm will go off, if moved?

It has to be resistant to popping open when dropped on the floor. The smaller lock boxes out there can be simply popped by dropping it shoulder height on its corner.
I suggest you put a spring-loaded lockable steel handle on the box. When you put the box away you put it into the top drawer of a dresser or built-in wall cabinet. You slide the box back into the drawer and as the box goes in the handle will go down. Once past the dresser opening, the handle springs up and locks into the most vertical position it can. Now no one can open that drawer far enough to get the box out. The box can only be stolen by stealing the entire dresser or not at all if the drawers are built into the wall. The owner simply opens the drawer half way and by inserting and turning a key in the box front, unlocks and drops the handle. Then they can easily grab the handle and pull the box out.
I was wondering if it could have a hole through it with a bike style lock through it?
Then dorms could offer anchors.
Could it have a hinge edge that you could close in a locked door or window?
Seems important to make them large and clearly marked so that anyone taking one could be spotted and required to show proof that they own it and are just moving it.
Your university id is barcoded. Could match it.
A very good idea.
Might be nice just for hotel room travel and one in the RV, too.
This is much needed, college students to secure important documents and emergency information and much more. Like insurances and contacts. Great Product.
definately figure out how you can keep someone from picking up the box and walking away with it. Have to have a way to secure it down. Maybe a small hole to feed a lock through??
it would be sweet if it was like a dry erase board that you can write or put pictures on the out side of it.
i like it great idea best of luck
