Travelstacks

Pack 'em, Stack 'em & Go

View This Product's Development History

Travelstacks is a set of three stackable plastic containers that wrap around your car's cup holder. Use Travelstacks to store your day's fill of snacks -- you can easily transport and keep separate your morning granola, mid-day sandwich, and pre-gym trail mix (or whatever arrangement fits your schedule and diet). If you're not the bring-your-lunch-to-work type, you can also use Travelstacks as additional car storage for your keys, parking meter change, and loose ends.

How it works:

- The Travelstacks' rubberized base fits most standard car cup holders.

- To access a container's contents, simply rotate the container 360 degrees. When not in use, all containers gently snap into a single vertical alignment.

- Can be easily taken apart for cleaning or storage. Simply remove the rubber ring on the top of the cup holder by grabbing its tab, then pull each container out individually.

- Customize Travelstacks for your needs. Use all three trays at once, or pop in the plastic spacer and use just one or two at a time.

I love this piece, Travelstacks is so perfect! Maybe as an add on you can add a clip so it can be attached to strollers/car seats etc. I can't wait to get one, no more crumbs in the car for me!!

Looks like this would be a great device for counting out "100 calorie snacks" like almonds, cereal, and whatnot. Cool idea!

Regarding Jennifer's comment, above, it would be very helpful (and produce more good names) if we knew what industrial design had been chosen before we entered the naming phase.

Very nice looking! I like the idea of using it for storage of stuff other than food. I hope this one makes it out of presales soon.

Wow, it looks reallyl nice, and I like the fact that it is not limited just to food, becuase a lot of people dont want to eat on the road. You can use it to put change, or just any other things that needs space in your car to put. I'm going to pre-order mine now. Great job quirky!

no image yet? That's why we can't figure out how we use it or clean it.

Given the tagline, "Pack 'em, Stack 'em & Go", the product would be modular... which I didn't think the chosen design was... it is changing?

How am I eating from this? pouring cereal in my mouth, then turning it and pouring milk in? or am I using the bottom container for both? in which case, why must it fit into a cup holder and where's the utensil? How much does it hold? You should make different sizes if this is going to be made.

How are you eating it? Is there a detachable spoon?

I to agree with Just, and everyone who said it shouldnt just be limited to breakfast, because now that I think of it, we can use it for other times of the day.

I agree with Jonah M., the "3Go" is a bit tricky on the tongue as well. I get the "breakfast to go" (2Go) play, but it is not very easy to recognize nor say. Also I think Richard A.'s point about limiting this to "breakfast" is valid. Easier to say and I believe more translatable, simple and clean, "3 to Go" would work better both from a brand recognition standpoint and for logo opportunities.

Patrick has a fine point: the Quirky Design Staff ought not to qualify for influence.

I like the gel cooling. 1) Please make the openings large enough to get a bottle brush in them or it will be a nightmare to clean.
