this is my first and more than likely my last purchase from this retailer. Like most people this doesn't even come close to fitting in my cup holder. I own a Ford Focus and fortunately for it has a rubber cup holder adapter that you can take out for large travel cups, then the device will fit into the holder and is loose as a goose! also it is so long that I have to put it in backwards from the diagram to even be close to being functional. I don't know what size travel cups they use but when I try to lift the travel cup out of it, the whole thing comes up! Most travel cups wont even fit in this thing! "Durable Plastic" my foot! You drop it and you're done! Bottom line...this is the biggest piece of schitt I've ever seen and if this is the kind of stuff Quirky sells, boycott them like crazy!

Cup is too large to fit in any cupholder I can find, and I've tried five cars and two trucks!

Like it a lot for my Passat, but it is a bit long (by a few centimeters). If there were several options for length (and apparently cup diameter), that might please more buyers.

The diameter of the portion that fits in the cupholder is too large to fit in either a Chrysler Sebring or Toyota Matrix. If it doesn't work in so many cars, they should at least post the diameter in the description so that people can measure before spending $25 plus shipping.

Same thing, bought and tried in two vehicles front and back and the bottom cups are too large to fit in anything.

We got ours recently. It couldn't fit my wife's New Beetle; it did work in my Passat.

Due to the level of the car's cupholder, you may not be able to rotate the different sections of Travelstacks. What I would redesign is the base - make one that could extend and lock into various heights in order to fit cupholders that are at various heights in relation to things around the center console.

I wouldn't buy this without the dimensions being listed - cup holder diameter and clearance needed for the other bits.

I'm disappointed with this product because I purchased it with the intent it would fit in my cup holder. When I realized that it didn't fit, I soon realized that this product misrepresented it's ability to fit into every cup holder.

Love this thing! - but I had improvise a new base to fit my cupholders (Lexus). Luckily I found a PVC plumbing fitting that was just about right, so I cut the existing base down to a short stub on a bandsaw then glued the two together (effectively reducing the OD of the base). I also wrapped the new base in a thin foam jacket to create a light press fit into the cupholder.

How about this: retool the base with a smaller OD to fit the smallest cupholder out there, and make foam jackets (of different thicknesses) to easily slip over the base and adapt as needed to larger cupholders. Cheap and easy. I might also think about making the vertical size of the base adaptable in a similar way.

This thing is worth getting right!

Very disappointed.. If you would be clear to folks that without the area under the extension, this will not stay in the open cup area (it toppled forward in a friend's car so I could not even give this away.
Was a great idea and might work for some.
