Welcome to Antonio Montemurro's idea...

Shoe Insert Overview

I am a Podiatrist in Chicago and if there is one thing I know...its the foot! I propose an orthotic (a shoe insert) that is primarily sand!

I like walking in the sand because it exfoliates the skin on the feet. A sand insert would also be bendable.

This item is something a lot of people would buy and try. We all have trouble with our feet and long work hours kills our feet. I would try the sand in a heart beat. Taking two pair of shoes to work today so when my feet start hurting even a slightly I will change them up. good luck to you

Oh man! I walk about 8-10 miles a day at my job and no matter what shoe or insert I get, my feet get SO tired and sore to the point I can barely walk another step! It really is a big problem for me! Ill tell you what, if I could wear my "moccasin" style slippers with the fuzzy inside to work, I WOULD!I even mentioned it to my girlfriend that someone should make regular shoes with the cushion I get from my slipper insides. I'd be a buyer of those for life! Good luck with this!

You should see a podiatrist. I have had a couple surgeries.

Perhaps a lighter polymer material would work as well, and be lighter. Or, market it as a calf-stengthening device.

It sounds like a novel approach but would added weight make it a difficult sale?
