Show AllHi, looks like fun and i don`t mean to be negative but the look of this design looks like it would bust apart on the first good ride down the first big hill. I mean did you ever do any real sledding as a kid? The steering and where the top and bottom go together with this design and price range are broken on the first good wipe out. The product features do say for ages six and up but should maybe be for toddlers as a slow pull along.
I like the color, it can be seen from a good distance . I think it needs a brake.
Well it has been 9 months, time for my plea again
PLEASE CHANGE THE COLOR, NO PINK, ANYTHING BUT PINK.
Great idea for a paddle boat option, change out the skis, connect the paddles. Have connecting push pedals (pedals can be like pedals in a car; push up and down to move the outside paddles) inside for pedaling, steer as originally designed. This would be a good option so it would be used all year round. Kids with large swimming pools and for lake events at picnics. This could very well be doable. Need to think outside the box. This has been sitting too long. This needs an overhaul for usage.
There are things like this already out there. How about a clever mod with removable skids which would allow its use as a small boat in the summer? Two uses out of one purchase and less garage space.
The product name must be imprinted!!!
Great idea. If you made one that would fit one or two adults (160lbs. or less) then i would buy one. It could be marketed at ski resorts for people that dont want/cant ski or snowboard.
I'd never buy it if it had the light on there.
First, almost all public parks are closed at dark.
Second, the light isn't going to illuminate the hill sufficiently. Have you ever actually tried sledding by flashlight? I have, it doesn't work. You need a spotlight, at minimum.
Third, placement of the light appears specifically chosen to interfere with snow flow under the sled in deeper areas. Why?
Fourth, do you really want to drag the extra mass of a light fixture and batteries up the hill over and over again during the 99.9% of the time you won't be using it?
There are a whole lot of other potential flaws on this sled that I won't bother with right now.
It has been 6 mo since I last posted to this product, so here goes my request again.
Lets rework the colors on this sled and make it more gender neutral (lose the the pink please). Maybe something like black & yellow, blue & green, something.
We may have missed this winter, but lets give a fair shot at success for next season.
Lets make this one work
The sled I had when I was a little girl had brakes and it saved me from hurting a lot of little ones when they weren't watching where they were walking at the bottom of the hill. It was similiar to the brakes found on this sled, funny how this is a feature that is rarely seen on sleds.
