Show AllCan u make a taller cup/stand too that can be used for dips and extreme pushups. Thanks!
I think extensions to the base of the cup have been suggested for dips and extreme pushups. Good idea.
Really??
Hasn't this already been done?
Yes, really. Rob, can provide a link to the product that has the same exact concept as mine? Thanks.
I totally need this because my wrists hurt when I try to do push ups. Please check out this product. It's for anyone with neck and arm injuries... http://www.quirky.com/ideations/212086
Thank you and good luck!
my son has something that looks like this .He uses for push ups
Hey fellow Quirks. Thank you for all of the great design submissions! Pat
this item is already all over the place.
Hi Hapi, can you provide links to these items on the market already? Thanks.
Great idea that improves on some similar products available. Good Luck!
Thanks Ziffle!
I still love these and think that optional semi-hard rubber spherical rollers on the bottom perimeter that could be locked up (out of the way) or down (in use) would add so much more to the possibility of exercise range, quality and total functionality. Good Luck Patrick!
Hey Jerry, yes, there seems to be a consensus of rollers or ball bearings that can raise and lower into position. Depending on how much motion you want the handle to have. Do you think the rubber rollers would be too soft? What about steel rollers? Either way, this will give more variety to the push-up.
There are many types of rubber. I would suggest rubber so you still have traction and so you do not damage any surfaces (like wood flooring). The density of the rubber should be something like the wheels of commercial food racks in hotels and restaurants.
I like this...when do you think this will be rolling out patrick? Has Quirky said anything to you about any delays?
Hey KC, thanks. No word yet. Hopefully they start soon.
Isnt there a product on the market called "perfect pushup" available on Amazon?
Yes, the perfect push-up is the market leader. That product utilizes a rotation on a plane. My idea utilizes a ball and joint design.
A good name for this could be No Sweat Push-ups
