Protect - and prop up - your Apple iPad with the Quirky Cloak, a sleek, sturdy case that doubles as a convenient, versatile stand! With Cloak you can finally take your iPad out of your lap and use it comfortably and safely in any situation.
Portrait:
Fold the Cloak’s front cover behind your iPad and use the larger plastic support brace located on the product’s inside cover to prop up the screen vertically.
Typing:
Flip out the smaller plastic support brace on Cloak’s inside cover to prop up your iPad screen at a low landscape angle, ideal for typing.
Landscape:
Open Cloak’s front cover and use it to prop up your iPad screen from behind. The screen can be positioned in different angles using a friction-fit folding mechanism.
On The Go:
The Cloak is constructed from sturdy non-slip silicone, with durable plastic on the hinge mechanisms. The hard front cover protects your iPad screen from damage while you're on the move.
To insert your iPad, just pop it into the front of the case. Cloak comes in four colors: black, pink, blue, and green.

For those having challenges with stains: Have you tried the Magic Eraser from Mr Clean? I found it removed pen and ink from white furniture when nothing else worked!

Received Cloak on Monday, green. Typing stand came broken. Spoke with Shirley. Awaiting replacement part. Have found the case as versatile as expected. Weight is an issue, not as easy to prop up in bed now. Can see what people said of the comments about the fit of the case, but hasn't been an issue. Really awaiting the typing stand before I really properly review it. Overall, I'm ok with it. Expected a little more, but not a huge disappointment. If they ever revise the design, I'd still be willing to look at it.

I also had not heard anything about my green cloak and was getting a tad worried, but just a few hours ago I got an email from Quirky that it shipped! I checked the tracking number, and it had shipped the day before. Hope that helps alleviate some concerns.

After 2 weeks of constant use, I moved to a skin. The cover does what it's supposed to, but was WAY TOO HEAVY. After going from a Kindle to iPad there was already weight to contend with. Adding this cover to it made the iPad unmanageable for anything but desk use. Forget about reading in bed with this cover. Otherwise, the supports were in the right places and at the perfect angles, the iPad felt protected all the way around and I liked the color and feel of the Cloak. For me the only problem has been the weight.

After about three weeks of use, I am disappointed with the case. The weight didn't bother me at all, but the landscape/typing stand broke (I'm amazed at how thin the pins were which secured it to the cover) and the rubber around the screen has stretched out. It's to the point where the cover won't even close properly because of the slack, and any time I try to set the iPad up in landscape mode using the cover as the stand, the case stretches and there is a significant gap around the bottom edge of the screen. My first impressions of the case were good, and I didn't want to post a review until I spent some time with it. Now that I have, I'm looking to return it for a refund. After three weeks of relatively light use, the thing is already broken, stretched out, and looks terrible. I'll give Quirky an A+ for the effort and the idea, but a D for execution.

I just got my cloak and yes is heavy the front case is the heaviest part of the case due to the fact that it has to accommodate the two stands support. Maybe two version of this case, one with stand for portray and typing and one with no stands so the cover of the case can be much more lighter would be a better approach for the weight issue. Other than that the cloak fit its purpose...protect the iPad with a neat design.

My blue Cloak arrived yesterday. I awaited its arrival with apprehension due to the many negative comments here. My take: yes, it IS heavy, the stands appear to be a bit flimsy, the silicon section is a little too floppy. As far as function goes, this case does everything I need it to do and it does it very well. Despite the too floppy property of the silicon section, it holds the ipad securely. I notice a ltlle pulling on the silicon lower edge when in landscape mode due to the forward force exerted on the bottom edge. The dust magnet issue is negligible, I have two cats who shed profusely and no cat hairs have attached themselves to the case yet. Negatives: weight. Positives: functionality, great color on the blue, excellent protection for the ipad. Overall, I am very happy with my Cloak.

Heaviness is a big issue. Apart from that, it's unique (in Hong Kong), low profile (no one can guess what's inside when covered up), cool look. In the market most cases are made of leather, and I hate leather!! And I am confident on the impact absorbing ability. Here is quite clean maybe, I didn't see any dust attracted to it. if it's lighter i will give 8-9 out of 10.
