Apple Tablet, IPAD Case

Alright Quirks, we all know it’s coming, we all know when its coming. And with Apple gearing up to manufacturer a million a month we need to get ready to capitalize. My idea is to get out the gates with a funky, fresh, and functional Apple Tablet Case. My initial ideas are: • It should include some type of protective cover, to cover the screen when the tablet is not in use. The tablet has a beautiful screen, and you would hate to damage it. • It should include a detachable shoulder harness. I don’t know but I can envision people carrying these instead of bookbags and traditional computer bags, thus a nice case that you can sling on the shoulder would be cool. • I may be asking for to much but it would be cool to have a place to store the USB cord. I’m sure there’s a bunch of other stuff we can add so please comment. I know what your thinking, this is to early. Not really when you consider the time it takes to bring products to fruition, now is the time to act so that we can get a piece of the market when the Tablet is introduced. The tablet is expected to be introduced January 27th, at which point exact dimensions will be released.

        I think it looks nice but I'm a bit confused. I thought the back on the pad was suppose to have straps to slide a keyboard or hand for carrying? Does this have a ear bud storage area?

              Remember everyone...even if we met the threshold in a week, we would still be well over a month away from production and shipping. We've got to push these through presales as quick as possible.

                          YAWN! Everyone is doing a carrying case for an iPad. I'm not interested in following this crowd, sorry. Quirky works better for ideas that are outside of the mainstream, an iPad shoulder bag is so mainstream as to be boring, and I frankly don't see anything unusual about the design comments, either.

                          I voted for the iPad wall mount, that's an idea that a lot of people want that no one has announced yet.

                                Can't wait to see the final design and out for purchase. Pre-sales should rock! Most already know if they will buy an iPad! Where are we on the design does anyone know?

                                  Needs to be really light for sure. What if it's designed like a book where the iPad on the right, the left side has a paper pad, pen, slots for USB cable, thumb drive, ear buds etc..

                                        Hmmm..Does it matter that Apple sells a software product called "Undercover"? If it does, quirky could always change the tagline to "Underwear". Lighten up the design a little and market it as something between a protective cover and a skin. A little titillation? A little bit of leopard skin? (Oh, sorry...forgot the name/tagline submission period is over - ha ha)
