As a storage solution, the Wrapster is great. It keeps the earbud cords separated and untangled. And Wrapster's center section has plenty of room for the volume control on my iPhone 4S earbuds. The only drawback: The weight. The product photos show people wearing headphones with the Wrapster attached. But for me, the Wrapster's weight tugs on the earbuds just enough to make them feel loose in my ears. But everyone's ears are shaped differently, so you may have better results. But the Wrapster is made in USA, so that made me feel very good about my purchase.
This product has damaged my earbud cords :(
This does not work well with headphones that have volume control because the section is too thin to hold the volume control of the headphone.
Problem One: No more tangles and subsequent damaged earbud cords.
Problem 2: no more misplacing them...seem easier to keep track of in the wrapped little brick configuration.
Problem 3: acts as a stand for your mobile...works great for iPhones.
This a brilliant, elegant solution to a vexing (for me) problem. While I like the other reviewer's suggestion of a future placement of a clip on the Wrapster, the current version is outstanding in its own right. *Great* product- I've bought two already. :)
it does a good job keeping headphones organized but sometimes falls off when you unwrap it, not perfect but a pretty solid little product
I just bought this and thought it was the best idea!
Summary: After some super-glue, this product works for me. I have never attempted to use it as a stand so I can't provide feed back on that, but as Ryan pointed out it would face straight up and down, which isn't very useful. My issue is that the headphone cords for my earbuds would constantly fall out of, or get stuck in the channel when wrapping them. I had to super-glue the channels shut, committing my earbuds to the wrapster for life, and now it works as advertised. Suggestion would be to have some type of clip on the bottom, so I can clip to my shirt when listening. The product is not very heavy, so I can let it hang down with the earbuds on, but I would prefer to clip it to my shirt to hold in place and take the weight off. Perhaps the clip could also provide the correct angle for the stand? Average product as is.
Exactly what Ryan Jones said.
