Quirkify your winter with Frosty Faces, sets of ice mold accessories that let you and your kids add funky flair to traditional snowmen.
Creating your Frosty Face is easy:
1. Fill the mold with water.
2. Freeze it.
3. Remove your new accessory and stick it on your snowman.
But Frosty Faces aren’t just for water, or winter! Fill them with snow for a quicker mold, or use sand in the summertime. You can also add food dye to create more colorful accessories.
Each mold is made of hard ABS plastic, with sturdy sides that ensure an easy release and allow the molds to stand in freezers and on flat surfaces.
Frosty Faces come in three different theme packs, each of which comes with eyes, a nose, and mouth. There’s Bucktooth ‘Boarder, with goggles, a moustached nose, and a bucktoothed smile; The Frostbiter, with crazy eyes, an Edward Cullen-esque nose, and fanged teeth; and Sassy Snowbelle, with flirty eyes, a button nose, and luscious lips. Order one, or order ‘em all!

$25 bucks is waaaayyy too much for this, which makes the regular price ($32) seem crazy. it is just molded plastic, after all, so why does it cost so much? i would classify this as an "impulse" purchase, or a gift for a kid, and pay tops $15.00. although i wouldn't actually buy it since i think the faces are ugly & prefer homemade snowman faces even if they are wonky.

doesn't appear to be much demand for this, I think the price is too high for this type of object.

This seems to be rolling out at the wrong time of year for its intended purpose. Maybe it should be repurposed to fit other applications. Any way to make it less costly? $19.95 seems to be the magic number for items like this.

After seeing the final product, I thought, "Wow, we really missed the boat!" I Googled cake faces and found nothing like this. (Admittedly not the most through search...) And these would make a great Jello dessert! And, could still be used for snowmen. Frosty faces (even though it's a really great name) doesn't fit the expanded idea of dessert decoration. I personally would like to see this product re-purposed. - The Dessert Dudes!

I like the idea of having the option for food. If I'm going to stick something in my freezer, I want to eat it. : ) If I were to use this strictly for snow, I'd let it freeze outside. Would cost of product increase dramatically by changing the plastic?

When we designed the product, we were thinking it would be used with water, snow, sand... non-food products. But if there's a demand, we'll consider going with a food-grade plastic, which might raise our production costs. What say you, Quirks -- is there that demand?

Is the plastic used for the mold food safe? The reason I ask, I'm interested in using it with Jello or even frozen juice like icicles.

Can ice cream be frozen in these molds to create our own unique ice cream cake faces? (I'm not familiar with ABS and it's relation to food products.) Thanks!

Perhaps as part of the mold package you include: a plastic carrot, different noses and eyes, and mouths, like a Mr. Potatoe Head. These would have to have larger screws to mount into the ice/snow.

This was better when it was a snow mold.

So it would be totally great if this product could be sold as a mold your own head kit. How fun for the little ones to make snowpeople that resemble themselves. And how utterly weird (but fun) it would be for us mostly normal adults to do the same thing. This would enable some of the greatest pranks ever.
